As a mother and a social worker from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, I’ve always dreamed of creating something purposeful. Ikhtirah is that dream woven into reality—a movement that empowers communities through fashion.Each Ikhtirah piece carries a story. With every purchase, you help educate underprivileged children and support the artisans who keep our handloom traditions alive. I got this beautiful suit from the Bahaara collection. The fabric for the kurta is in intricate embroidery and the material is very comfortable even in warm summers. This one pictured here is in green. The undertone in mint colour blended well with the background and the organza dupatta gave it an almost dream like effect due to the sheer look. Little wonder I got two from the same collection. I have ordered multiple times from Ikhtirah and their collections are only getting better and better.
